founded in 1990, stephannie’s illustration house has been creating one of a kind stationery products for fashionistas and paper lovers around the world.

while still a student at parsons school of design, stephannie worked as a freelance illustrator, presenting her handmade portfolio to every art director in the city. obsessed by a love of paper and pretty things, she began designing wedding invitations for new york’s most stylish brides.

her first map was created for the vinegar factory, the famous upper east side market, and she discovered that she had a knack for designing unique and clever personalized maps. soon she was illustrating cities around the world, and couture maps took on a life of its own.

stephannie is thrilled to have her work featured in many publications, and most recently her maps have adorned the streets and subways of new york city.
